Track Team Competes at Last Chance Qualifier

Meet Results
LOCK HAVEN—Bloomsburg University picked up two new qualifiers for next week’s Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) track and field championships at the Last Chance Qualifier at Lock Haven University on Saturday.
Earning a trip to the PSAC championships were
Justin Woerth (Christiana, Solanco) at 800-meters who finished in 1:56.90, while on the women’s side
Victoria Davis (Schuylkill, Schuylkill Haven) also qualified in the 800 in a time of 2:24.19.
Improving their PSAC-qualifying marks were
Jason LaForme (Muncy, Hughesville) in the javelin with a throw of 58.03 m (190’4”);
Andrew Anderson (Toms River, NJ, Toms River North) in the long jump in 5.20m(17’0 ¾”) and
Katie Filemyr (Willow Grove, Bishop McDevitt) in the 3000 meter race in 10:41.32.
The PSAC championships will be held next Thursday through Saturday at West Chester.
