Men Post Qualifying Marks at Maroon and Gold Invite

BLOOMSBURG—The Bloomsburg University men’s track team hosted the Maroon and Gold Invitational and turned in numerous Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship qualifying times.
In the men’s javelin Jason LaForme (Muncy, Hughesville) threw 56.16, while in the pole vault Matthew Stuck (Milton, Milton)registered a mark of 4.34 meters to also take first place in the event, both good enough to earn a trip to the PSAC championships.
At 800 meters, Jared Arnold (Philadelphia, Engineering & Science) posted a PSAC-qualifying time of 1:57.34, while at 400-meters Andrew Anderson (Toms River, NJ, Toms River North) took first in a qualifying time of 50.29 seconds.
In the 400-meter hurdles John Barnett (Chester Springs, Downingtown East) ran 57.34 seconds, while at 200-meters Abu Siddique ran a time of 23.70, both PSAC times. In the 5000 meter race Misha Litvinov (Drums, Hazleton)posted a time of 15:29.32, while in the steeplechase Michael Hookham (Middlesex, NJ, Middlesex) ran a 9:54.17.
The Huskies compete at Lock Haven on May 8.
