Laura Sullivan Named PSAC East Player of the Week

BLOOMSBURG—Bloomsburg University women’s tennis player
Laura Sullivan (Dingman's Ferry, Delaware Valley) has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Eastern Division Player of the Week for the period ending April 18.
Sullivan went a combined 6-0 this past week helping the Huskies to a 3-0 record on the week improving to 13-3 on the season. Sullivan played at number two singles in which she won all three of her matches, dropping a total of just 10 games against some very solid competition.
In doubles play, Sullivan teamed with Andrea Malatesta at the number three doubles position to win all of their matches, losing a total of just seven games along the way. The week improves Sullivan to a season record of 14-4 in singles competition while playing primarily at number two. She is also 11-8 in doubles, including a10-6 record with Malatesta.
Bloomsburg will play at Bucknell on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
